Subject: The Largest Gathering of Women in the History of the World for International Women’s Day!
The Dali Lama has said it will be women who bring the Shift in human consciousness and world transformation.
On March 8, 2011, the Women’s Information Network (WIN) will be proud to host the largest gathering of women in the history of the world for International Women’s Day.
The WIN embraces all women, all ages, and all cultures, in our mission to “strengthen women and families worldwide.” Women have historically been the longest neglected and abused minority in the world. We want to help end the pain of being a second class citizen.
Through our Global Women’s Summits we will be traveling throughout the world this year to assist women who are trying to take their place in their society.
Women in transition is a major part of my practice. I deal mostly with women’s issues here in our country, which are still rampant. Even in today’s society when we have broken through the glass ceiling, women believe they should hide behind a man or borrow their esteem and self worth from a strong successful man instead of stepping up to make their own place in the world and fulfill the mission they came here to do. My efforts will go to restoring women’s dignity and helping them realize they can make a change by learning safe and productive negotiation techniques.
We will attempt to show women exactly how to win in life and in business as we educate, entertain, and inspire women in many uplifting ways.
U.N. Ambassador Mokhtar Lamani and Dr. Paula Fellingham, our CEO, are creating our initiatives to be taken to the nations of the world via Global Women’s Summits:
1. Acknowledge similarities and respect differences.
2. Strengthen women’s roles in communities and societies to achieve peace and development.
3. Live in dignity and contribute to the well-being of women worldwide
Amazing women celebrities, athletes, political leaders, and experts will speak about women’s issues today and how we can “Enlighten Women’s Minds, Empower Women’s Hearts … for a Better World.” We invite and welcome you to participate!
